Jetti Schmudlach, t-LMHC, provides counseling services for individuals ages 6 and older, as well as couples and families, at Midwest Counseling Associates. She is dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and client-centered therapeutic environment tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals.
Jetti earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wartburg College and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loras College. She offers both in-person and telehealth services and strives to meet clients where they are in their mental health journey.
Her clinical approach is grounded in a collaborative, person-centered framework and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, play therapy interventions, and strengths-based practices. Jetti believes in fostering a strong therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to pursue meaningful and lasting change.
Jetti has experience working with clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, mood disorders, hyperactivity, and inattention. She also enjoys supporting children through play-based interventions that encourage emotional expression, coping skills development, and self-regulation in a safe and supportive environment.
Jetti values progress over perfection and believes that each person has the capacity for growth, resilience, and healing. She is committed to helping clients build insight, confidence, and healthy coping strategies as they work toward greater emotional wellness and personal growth.
