Olivia Cummings-Deaner, t-LMHC, is a temporarily Licensed Mental Health Counselor who provides counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults. She is dedicated to creating a supportive, open, and trusting therapeutic environment where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges and working toward meaningful growth and healing.

Olivia earned her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and her master’s degree from Liberty University. She has a strong connection to the community, having grown up in Oelwein, and is passionate about providing accessible mental health care to individuals across the lifespan, including middle school students, high school students, and adults.

Her clinical approach is grounded in collaboration and strengths-based care, with an emphasis on helping clients recognize and build upon their existing skills and resilience. Olivia primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, while also incorporating mindfulness strategies, play-based techniques, and skills-building interventions to support emotional regulation, anxiety management, and healthy coping.

Olivia believes that having a safe space to talk and process life experiences can be a powerful step toward healing. She is committed to meeting clients where they are and supporting them as they develop insight, confidence, and practical tools for navigating life’s challenges.

She looks forward to walking alongside clients as they work toward growth, balance, and improved emotional well-being.
